As a suspended surface it allows sitting, lying and gentle swinging, offering a clear counterpoint to dynamic climbing movements. Children can rest, observe, communicate and meet here before rejoining the climbing activity.
This combination of relaxation space and movement area creates smooth transitions between activity and participation and supports inclusive play for different needs and abilities.
