Ropeway (first meter)

The ropeway consists of three robust Hercules cables, each with a diameter of 20 mm, which are arranged side by side in a width of approximately 90 mm. The three individual cables are crimped together at regular intervals using special aluminum clamps.
The connection to the Podium circle S is made using two M16 x 110 mm flexible fork-eye bolts; on the Skyclimber, an additional tube bend is mounted to which the ropeway is secured with screws.
Includes special accessories for the basic unit, such as 1 tube bend Ø 60.3 mm for ropeway mounting and 2 smb tube clamps for attaching the tube bend to the framework tubes.
The tube bend not only serves as a mounting point for the ropeway but also provides an entry aid from the ropeway to the space net.

Ropeway Podium circle S – sleeve foundation

Entry, exit or middle platform and attachment point for the smb-ropeway. Available as a standalone unit and for external connection to space nets.
The platform has a circular base with a diameter of 504 mm, which is coated with colored EPDM granules; the height above the playing surface is approximately 470 mm. The steel tube support column (Ø 168.3 x 6.3 mm) is set in concrete using a sleeve foundation and is permanently protected against corrosion by hot-dip galvanizing followed by a powder coating in a RAL color.
The base plate and flange column are bolted together, thereby clamping the TWIRLCON clamping ring to which the ropeway is mounted. Thanks to the clamping ring’s swivel mount, the connections of the ropeway align themselves largely automatically prior to final assembly. The TWIRLCON clamping ring offers up to 5 connection options with an angle of at least 72°.
The base plate and the TWIRLCON clamping ring are removable, allowing the system to be easily and cost-effectively expanded at a later date.

A wide range of colors is available for the ropes and steel components (for aluminum ball knots at an additional charge) in accordance with the smb ColorCard for rope play equipment.
