Ropeway Cross consists of crossed Hercules ropes tensioned between two podiums, visually forming a dynamic and movement-oriented balancing element. The structure can be installed in lengths of up to 5.00 m, creating a compact yet highly challenging movement task. When walking across the ropes, they move laterally to the left and right, requiring continuous adjustment of body posture. This dynamic behaviour demands a high level of body stability, balance and conscious weight shifting, as each step must be actively stabilised.
Compared to other Ropeway variations, Ropeway Cross significantly increases the coordinative challenge and encourages users to consciously control their movements and develop body awareness. Thanks to variable lengths and freely selectable colour and contrast combinations of the ropes, podiums and EPDM surfaces, Ropeway Cross can be specifically designed for inclusive play and sports areas, supporting visual orientation and accessibility for different user groups.
Used as a standalone balancing element or combined with podiums and other Ropeway components, it creates varied movement landscapes that promote motor skills, concentration and social interaction for children, youth and adults alike.

Ideal is the combination of several balancing bounds of the series Classic and Flux so that the construction is interesting for a wide range of age groups.

Please note when planning

Due to the low height of 400 mm, there are no requirements on the fall protection, so that the system can be installed on any surface.

Please bear in mind that the minimum degree between two balancing bounds that are connected to one platform has to be at least 72°!

The ropeway Cross consists of two Hercules ropes (Ø 18 mm) running alternately alongside each other, approx. 130 mm wide.
The ropes are connected with T-clamps and aluminum round rods.
The contact points are pressed together using special aluminum clamps. The end fastenings consist of two articulated M16 x 150 mm fork eye bolt connections.
This articulated connection ensures a long service life and enables optimum rope tension.
The ropeway CROSS is attached to the Twirlcon connection ring, the platform pedestal, or the platform plate with a round base. The platform plates are coated with rubber granulate.
Note: Matching support posts are not included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately.

Color options: A wide range of rope and panel colors is available for individual design preferences.
