Free space and free fall height
Required free space above the jumping surface
The free space above the jumping area must be at least 3.50 m (measured from the edge of the jumping surface). This area must be free of obstacles such as branches, etc.
Maximum height difference and free fall height
Maximum height difference:
The difference between the jumping surface and the lowest point of the impact surface may be max. 0.60 m.
Free fall height:
The free fall height was defined by DIN EN 1176 at 0.90 m.
The height difference must be added to the maximum free fall height of the jumping device (0.90 m). Please note that the shock absorbing properties of the floor in the falling space must then be adjusted accordingly.
Due to the new fall height, at least topsoil must be used as fall protection. We recommend EPDM covering or fall protection tiles. Loose fall protection is not recommended.
