DESIGNPREIS BRANDENBURG 2025
The URBN HOOP® was honored as a Nominee at the Designpreis Brandenburg 2025 — a distinction achieved by less than 20% of all submissions.
The competition evaluates product design as a whole — there is no dedicated category for sports equipment. This means the URBN HOOP® competed directly against projects from furniture design, industrial design, lifestyle, technology, and communication design.
Out of more than 150 submitted works, only 31 projects were nominated. Nominations are reserved exclusively for projects that demonstrate: outstanding design quality, innovation, functionality, and societal relevance. This recognition confirms: URBN HOOP® is officially among the best design projects in Brandenburg for 2025 — across all industries. A strong statement about our design quality, our technical innovation, and our position between sport, culture, and contemporary product design.
The Designpreis Brandenburg is a prestigious state-level design competition in the German federal state of Brandenburg. It is awarded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour, Energy and Climate Protection of the State of Brandenburg. The aim of the award is to highlight the creative and economic strength of Brandenburg’s design and creative industries.
