Project Description:
At the “Käseglocke” playground in Magdeburg, an extraordinary trampoline landscape was created that combines play, design, and thematic storytelling. The installation takes up the concept of cheese and translates it into a creative play environment.
Several black trampolines form the “holes in the cheese” within a yellow EPDM surfacing. The concept is complemented by two individually designed themed trampolines: a mouse and a cat, which act as playful characters and enhance the overall experience.
A key feature is the in-situ construction method, which allows the trampolines to be seamlessly integrated into the ground surface, resulting in a high-quality, durable, and barrier-reduced play area. The installation combines functional movement elements with a strong design identity and high recognizability.
