Project Description:
Modern schoolyards are no longer just break-time spaces. They are designed to encourage physical activity, support social interaction, and provide diverse opportunities for play and movement within limited space.
This project demonstrates how attractive and inclusive activity spaces can be created even on compact school sites, successfully combining sports, play, recreation and social interaction within a single cohesive environment.
With SILENTIQ® FUSION, an innovative multifunctional activity space was created at the Berlin school campuses on Konrad-Wolf-Straße and Sewanstraße. The concept combines ball games, climbing, traversing and balancing within one integrated play and movement environment.
The whisper-quiet SILENTIQ® ball catch fencing system forms the foundation for modern, multifunctional sports and play areas. By integrating additional play and movement elements, a diverse range of activities is created for different age groups and ability levels across multiple levels. Numerous opportunities for traversing, balancing and exploring new routes support motor development and encourage children to continually discover new movement experiences.
The concept is complemented by attractive seating and relaxation areas that provide space for social interaction, communication and recreation.
