The Monkey Swing is an engaging hanging play element in the Adventure Park system that invites children to move, explore and swing in a playful way. The structure consists of robust rope loops arranged in rows along parallel horizontal ropes, creating a series of grips and holds that encourage swinging, reaching and dynamic balance challenges. As children move along the Monkey Swing, they develop hand-arm strength, coordination, body tension and rhythmic movement control, while also learning to adjust their timing and strategy with each swing. The parallel arrangement of the ropes allows for multiple movement options and children can playfully experiment with different approaches, try side-by-side swinging or even challenge one another to pass each other like playful monkeys, strengthening social interaction and cooperative movement. The Monkey Swing is adaptable in length up to 5.00 m and can be integrated project-specifically between AdventurePark posts, making it a versatile element both as a standalone feature and as an exciting link between other linear elements within a larger parcours.

The Monkey Swing consists of robust Hercules ropes Ø 18 mm with galvanized steel strands and a durable, easy-to-grip yarn cover made of polyamide or polyester.

Attached to the two parallel horizontal ropes are a series of rope loops arranged in a row. The number of hanging loops varies depending on the length of the element.

The Monkey Swing is connected to the support structure using a flexible tensioning system with fork eye bolts M16 × 110 mm and sleeve nuts M16 × 50 mm. The ropes are fixed to crossbars Ø 60.3 mm, which are welded to the support posts. These crossbars are permanently protected against corrosion by hot-dip galvanization followed by a powder coating in a RAL color of choice.

Depending on the production length, the Monkey Swing is suitable for a post spacing of up to 5.00 m (post center to post center).
