smb citytor® original combi equipment

Combination of a citytor® original and a streetball system with extended mast reach.
In accordance with DIN EN 15312, this combination of equipment complies with the classification in Type 4, Class E (the clearance between the front edge of the target board and the front edge of the goal frame is at least 600 mm). The combination system therefore meets the requirements for ‘ball throwing practice facilities’ for training in schools and sports clubs.

Dimensions of the complete system: 3.16 x 3.80-3.96* x 2.55 m (WxHxD), basket ring height: 3.05 m.

Football goal with external dimensions of 3.16 x 2.09 x 0.79 m (WxHxD) and a clear goal opening of 3.0 x 2.0 m.
Stable, bolted frame construction made of steel tubes; front goal frame made of steel tube Ø 82.5 x 3.2 mm, rear and side frames made of steel tube Ø 60.3 x 2.9 mm;
Corrosion protection provided by spray galvanisation followed by powder coating in RAL colour. Goal nets made from 4-strand Hercules rope, Ø 8 mm, with high steel content and a polypropylene yarn coating, inner mesh size approx. 35 x 122 mm (WxH), rope intersections connected using smb elliptical knots.

The nets are securely screwed into the smb-ROWOCON® sleeves fixed in the goal frame using stainless steel grub screws. The grub screws are secured with a polyamide coating to prevent them from coming loose accidentally, yet still allow the individual goal nets to be effortlessly replaced on site.

The goal is bolted to the ground using two ground anchors that are set in concrete; required foundations: 2x 0.4 x 0.5 x 1.0 m (WxHxD); the bolts used for fastening are unseen and protected in the tubular frame.

A wide range of colors is available for the steel parts, ropes and elliptical knots in accordance with the smb ColorCard for urban sports equipment.

The ground anchors are installed level with the future playing surface, enabling easy foundation construction and simple installation of the goal after the flooring has been laid.
Movable mountings for the screw connections (sliding blocks) inside the ground anchors compensate for any dimensional inaccuracies that may arise during the construction of the foundations.
Hot-dip galvanising of the ground anchors provides long-term corrosion protection and thus contributes to the long-lasting stability of the goal.

Stand tube made of steel tubing Ø 133 x 5.6 mm with a mast extension between 102 and 179 cm (according to customer requirements).
Permanently protected against corrosion by complete hot-dip galvanisation.
A welded mounting plate with four M12 threaded bolts is attached to the stand tube for convenient installation of the backboard and streetball basket (basket ring height 3.05 m). The distance between the welded threaded bolts is 105 x 105 mm.

The stand tube is mounted 150 mm below the playing surface, with a welded pipe flange bolted to the flange anchor to be set in concrete; The dimensions of the required foundation are:
1.1 x 1.1 x 1.0 m (LxWxH).

Foundation anchor with support ring (Ø 245 mm, height 150 mm) which serves as a placeholder for the stand tube to be mounted. This allows the fall protection material to be applied effortlessly up to the height of the play level; the space required for mounting the flange screw connection remains free of fall protection material, effectively preventing the surrounding material from sagging.

Once the stand tube has been installed, the mounting opening is closed with the screw-on flange cover SBEM.

The hot-dip galvanisation of the flange anchoring and the flange cover ensure long-term corrosion protection and thus contribute to the lasting stability of the streetball facility.

Streetball basket "99 classic"

Extremely robust design with an upper tube ring and a basket net mounted on it.
The tube ring has a standard inner diameter of 450 mm and is made of steel tube Ø 48.3 x 2.6 mm. The basket net is firmly screwed into the 12 ROWOCON® sleeves located on the tube ring. The retaining plate welded to the tube ring has 4 holes Ø 14 mm (hole pattern 105 x 105 mm).

The streetball basket is protected against corrosion by spray galvanisation followed by powder coating in RAL colours. The basket net is made of Hercules rope Ø 16 mm, with the rope intersections permanently hydraulically pressed using smb stainless steel wire rope clamps.
The 12 vertical ropes have a rope ring at their ends, which is firmly attached to the vertical ropes using hydraulically pressed smb aluminium T-clamps.
