1981
Driven to the top:
smb develops its first central mast netclimber



1985
The trick with the knot:
The smb aluminum ball knot comes on the market as an ideal connecting element for crossing ropes



1988
Big play on a small space:
Development of the framework units in diamond-dome construction



1995
Bye, bye Berlin-Spandau, hello Hoppegarten:
smb moves its headquarters from Spandau (Berlin) to Hoppegarten (Brandenburg) at the gates of the capital



2005
Generation change:
Heiko Patzer, son of the company founder Siegfried Patzer, takes over the management of smb



2012
Distinguished:
smb wins the renowned red dot design award for its modutramp® (formerly modulus) trampoline series - and Heiko Patzer takes over the company as new owner



2015
Twice awarded:
smb receives two design awards for the SIRIUS framework unit - the red dot urban design award and the German Design Award



2016
New workplace:
smb moves within Hoppegarten to its new location in the Technikerstraße



2019
Real enlightenment:
Development of the flashtramp® trampoline series with integrated lighting



2020
Anniversary:
smb celebrates 40th anniversary
